Barkle N Shine Dog Grooming

Megan was incredibly caring and gentle with my 14 year old best friend, Jake!Her efficient and loving ability to trim his nails made his experience comfortable and now he can enjoy his walks even more. I highly recommend her!

What a happy experience I had just a week ago when I took my lab to get a self serve wash at Barkle N Shine! I was coming back from a long vacation and we've only been in the Ormond area like maybe less than a year now and we've been looking everywhere for a place to bathe our dog because we don't use our own tub for those kind of things. When I heard about Barkle N Shine from a friend of mine in the area, I went to check them out on the US Highway 1. When I walked in, I was immediately greeted by both of the staff members Cathy and Suzy. I had no idea what "self serve" consisted of but with the help of these two lovely ladies, they provided more than enough information. They even took it upon themselves to give me a demonstration of how to properly clean my lab Lady. Lady was a happy dogg

Read so many positive posts, thought I would give this groomer a try (my groomer (who is up in age) recently hurt her shoulder and cannot no longer work on anything but smaller dogs. Suzi inspected our dog for 5 minutes trying to get to know our dog and see if she could find any matting. She was amazed with a dog with such long hair that he wasn't matted at all. Never seen a groomer interact with a pet before like that; seemed kind of neat. We told her that he had alot going on in his life, overcoming cancer (lost his eye). That he was around 9 years old, asked that she would be careful when grooming around his eye, to leave the blank one covered up. She happily agreed. We explained that he is a Warm Wheaten Terrier. She assured me that she knew how to trim him. --- Went to pick up o
