Bark Life Express

I had my Pomeranian groomed by Haleigh three times at this establishment. The first visit was excellent. She did a perfect job, and I was happy. On the second visit, his hair was left a little longer than I preferred, but it was still acceptable. For the third visit, I specifically asked for the same haircut as the second time just slightly shorter. I also clearly explained that I do not like the typical short Pomeranian cut. My Pomeranian has long silky hair, and she shaved it all the way off. Not only was this the opposite of what I requested, but the haircut itself is poorly done. His face is uneven and crooked, his body has visible shave marks, and there appears to be a gouge in his coat. I am extremely disappointed, especially after being very clear about my expectations. Not even one star, but apparently I can't post zero stars. Mindy shaved my Pomeranian after showing her a picture of his scissor "edge cut" previously from grooming up north. Thankful his hair is finally starting to grow back, but his beautiful top coat is gone. Luckily he didn't get alopecia or skin cancer, so far, after his top coat was shaved off. Beware, shaving Pomeranians is not healthy, especially when the owner doesn't want it. I know it's easier/faster to get the dogs' grooming done with shaving. Shame on them. Do not take your dog to Mindy at Bark Life Express. Been to two different places and my vet and they can't believe the damage she has done. Since moving back to Florida I have struggled to find a groomer that my Sasha actually likes. She’s a bit picky but when I brought her to Mindy at first she was a little shy but after the first visit Sasha gets so excited. I no longer have to drag her in lol. She literally jumps out of the car when we get there. Mindy does such a great job grooming my baby. She always smells so good and her nails are perfect, not choppy or too long. Book with Mindy she is amazing!!!

Took my teacup pom today and teacup yorkie Mindy is great with both. Already made my next appointment with my girls. Thank you Mindy.

Nice place to shop retail, but found the grooming less than expectations. It seems they go through different groomers who aren't passionate about the dogs and try to turn and burn. The groomer that did mine apparently was booked over her shift, she was telling me when I dropped him that her shift was over but she would groom him, she called 10 minutes later to say he was done and when i picked him up he was soaking wet. Terrible experience
