Bark and Sparkle

Love this place! The people are so friendly and kind and helpful! They provide everything you need at the self washing stations for your dogs; ear cleaner, 3 different types of dog wash, brush, teeth cleaner, towel! The tubs are even big enough to do a 2 for 1 bath if your feeling extra adventurous, although I did that once and now I take the dogs separately 🤣

We love using the self serve bath tubs for our big labrador. Super easy and prices are great :) Also employees are very kind and helpful. They always do a great job with London's nail trim and grind :)

We took our Westie boy here for years, but are now going to have to find a new groomer. Things have gone downhill! The last two cuts on our terrier mixes have been rough. The cut on our miniature schnauzer mix was recently butchered. See the pictures for the before and after. We asked that she be left as long as possible with a shaped up schnauzer head with some minor mats being cut out. She is a rescue and went through a thorough reshaping and wonderful grooming in Northern Virginia. Bark and Sparkle’s staff ruined all that hard work. When questioned, Linda the owner, proceeded to lie about having discussed the cut with my wife and then admitted Bark & Sparkle does not take pet parents’ request. I couldn't recommend Bark and Sparkle more highly if I tried! Everytime I take my dog I am so excited to see him afterwards because he comes out looking like absolute perfection, a whole new little man. Their prices are so reasonable and worth every penny, they do a wonderful job, and I feel totally safe dropping him off there which is important to me. I'm sure he drives them crazy with his excessive corgi barking, and I so appreciate the time they take and the talented job that they do dealing with that and all of his floof! Amazing crew and they do a great job!! I only dropped a star because while my pup “sparkles” every time, my wallets “barks”! I miss the days when grooming was under a hundred bux. Yet I return because I can always count on high quality service, and, well, dogs are family!
