I save hundreds of dollars a year by having my dogs on The Banfield Wellness Plan. I pay a reasonable monthly fee and it includes teeth cleaning every 6 months, shots,bloodwork,exams and more. The only thing l pay extra for is if they need medicine if they get sick. Ear checks are included also. And l get notified when it is time to come in for each step of the Wellness appointments. My furbabies get excited when we go to get check ups. They are treated very well. NO WORRIES OF THEM BEING HARMED. There are hold ups at times signing in because a couple of the ones who work at the sign in counter sits and chats and visits looking at picture of the persons pets or other things? But it is great once they are done visiting with the person ahead of you and finally get your pet checked in. Not

I love coming to the banfield in Winchester VA. The staff is always trying to get us in and out and they take good care of my babies. I’ve been going there for just over 2 years and I don’t have any complaints. They also have a good yearly subscription with monthly payments.

Horrible experience! I specifically scheduled an 'in room' visit...my dog was taken to a room for his vaccine and a quick 'exam'-he was brought back to me in the lobby after about 7 mins. Then the vet came to the lobby to discuss what should be done. I was told that the most affordable way to get the treatment he needed was to buy one of their wellness plans and sign a 12 month contract for said plans and that would lower the cost for the procedure. Nothing was simple with this office...everytime I asked a question, I was given cryptic answers. At the end of the short, in lobby visit, I asked if my dog could be bandaged since his wound was draining and was told yes, but it would cost extra. $40 dollars to cover a wound with a little gauze???? Awesome staff and you can tell they love your pet as if it was there's. And Doctor Ritenour is the best doc ever she's a real treasure and the Winchester Banfeild Pet Hospital is so blessed to have her as there Doctor I highly recommend them.

DO NOT TAKE YOUR PET HERE! I took my 4-year-old Golden Retriever to Banfield Hospital in Winchester on Saturday at 11 AM for routine care—vaccines, a heartworm test, anal gland expression, and nail trimming. From the start, the experience was awful. 🔹 RUDE STAFF & POOR COMMUNICATION The front desk lady was extremely rude with horrible customer service. They told me my dog would be done in 2 hours, and they would call me when he was ready. Robbins, claimed my dog was "too anxious" and had bit a nurse, which is completely false. My dog has never shown aggression—he was raised around small children and has always been gentle.
