I brought my cat to this hospital because he had started vomiting more often, which worried me. The staff explained that blood tests & X-rays were needed to identify the cause & suggested enrolling in their animal care plan to help lower the original estimate for lab work. In total we ended up paying about $1,000. The results showed that my cat had thyroid issues related to the Friskies wet & dry food he had been eating previously. They recommended switching him to a strict Hill’s Science Prescription Diet & since then he has completely stopped vomiting & even regained the weight he lost. Although the prescription food is pricey, I’m just glad my cat is healthy & happy again. Getting a new prescription every 2-3 months can be a pain! The team treated him with care & respect & made sure I f
I actually give this a zero star but that’s not an option. First of all when I made an appointment online I received a first visit free coupon. I have 2 dogs so I had to register them both. When the staff called to confirm the appt they stated it was going to be a $89 per dog fee, and at that point I let them know I had the “free” first visit coupon. When we went to check out they told me my total was $178. I then presented the coupon and at that point was told that it was only good for 1 dog. I was never told this when they called to confirm the appt and I mentioned I had the coupon and why would they give a coupon when you make an appt and not be able to use it. Then we scheduled an appt for both my dogs to be spayed and at that time they gave us a “quote”. So when we got a call to confi
My dog went in for a nail trim. The woman came back out mad saying to make an appointment next time bc she had a hard time with him. I said okay. His next nail trim I called to make an appointment and they were confused saying they don’t do appointments for nail trims. I said I was told to make one. So I get there and they say it’ll be $26 which is the same price as last time. Then one girl comes out saying actually it’ll be $70 I said why? And she said bc another person had to help hold the dog while trimming his nails…so what that person gets $50??? How is pricing even accurate at all? Part of your job is holding the dog but you want me to pay $50 more for it? I was so mad I didn’t pay for any of the items I had shopped for, I paid the $70 and left. This place is terrible
I was very disappointed with the front desk staff. During a stressful situation involving my pet, they were rude and made unnecessary comments. Compassion and professionalism are extremely important in a pet hospital, and unfortunately that was lacking at the front desk. The situation was already overwhelming, and the attitude made it worse.
Just terrible! Worst place I have ever gone! The staff was rude when a poor defenseless dog needed their help the most. According to them they where booked for the entire day even tho no one was being seen at the time. The receptionist Amanda, was heartless, snooty, and just plain out disrespectful. I was in town for the weekend and I happened to come across a puppy. He seemed fine until I picked him up and was inspecting him. He was infested with ticks! I was concerned about his safety and decided the best course of action would be to take him to pet Hospital or veterinarian. I used google maps and it told me that Banfild pet hospital was closest in had the mostly good ratings. That was not true what so ever! We ended up taking the puppy somewhere else and he’s doing fine! I decided to ke
