When I called to ask if they had availability, they asked me how quickly I could be there to have an abscess on my dog’s ear looked at. I told them that I could be there within 15 minutes and I was. I was immediately checked in and put in a room with my dog to await a visit from the doctor. One hour later, and we had still not been seen by anyone. I cannot say whether or not they are effective at the actual treatment of our pets, but I can absolutely say that they neither value your time nor your pet’s level of discomfort. Throughout our visit, I could hear the staff cackling in the adjacent rooms while they gave other dogs a haircut and talked about how cool it would’ve been to have ChatGPT when they were in high school. This location is absolutely horrible if you’re looking to be in and out, and/or are looking for clear communication on what to expect. I set an appointment for both of my dogs to have a drop-off service, which is usually for me at my normal location (PetSmart Banfield in Roswell). I arrived at this location at least 5 minutes early, and the visit started off poorly. This location had me fill out paperwork (which the website didn’t indicate there was a need for or else I would have saved time and done that beforehand), then had me wait in the appointment room (not the lobby) with my two dogs for the physician to go over their treatment plans and what they would be doing for them that day. In all, I had to spend an additional 20 minutes than I expected and normally experience, which was not

I go out of my way and take an extra 20 minute drive to get to this specific location. Everyone here is always friendly and professional. They take great care of my pups and I can always count on them for vet services.

Wonderful team. Saw my dog and addressed all my concerns and engaged me in all that was planned for his illness. They followed up to check on him via text. Love Banfield Roswell south.
