I’ve been taking my dog to Banfield Pet Hospital since she was born and have visited multiple locations from Naples to Sarasota. Unfortunately, the experience at this specific location was by far the worst. From the moment I arrived—only seven minutes late—I was met with unnecessary attitude and rudeness from an older staff member who showed zero patience or customer service skills. Instead of being understanding or professional, I was spoken to disrespectfully and given attitude throughout the interaction. I was also judged and given looks because my dog is not currently on heartworm medication, which felt completely inappropriate and unprofessional. To make matters worse, I was told I needed to “arrange my travel time better” to make appointments on time—an unacceptable way to speak to

My family and I cannot say enough good things about Banfield Port Charlotte. Dr. Hite, Karen and Alicia have been such supportive and educational care providers. They have been amazing with everything from routine immunizations and checkups to serious illness and loss. We are so grateful for the care and support they provide.

Waited over one hour to be seen for a “drop off”! Three people in line ahead of me. One just wanted to “pay his bill”! Received a call from the Vet Female Doctor pressuring me to go with recommendations for drugs on blood issue and wanted to do urine tests, have me come back because she did not have a tool she needed with her to check animal’s urine. I said I just brought my dog Lucy in for a bacterial infection. I thought “what the heck”! I asked her several questions about what she was doing and asked her about statistics about procedures and she said she did not have time to deal with any statistics! Do you want it done or not she said. Turns out she had the wrong owner for another dog name Lucy!!!! So much for placing name collars around the dog’s neck for ID purposes. You need to g

My dog was having issues with both of her eyes, they told me they only do drop off appointments, which I wasn't too thrilled about. The medications I received did not work so I called to get a follow-up appointment to talk to the vet about what the next step should be and I was told I could not have a face-to-face appointment unless I dropped my dog off first and then I might have a window opportunity to speak to the vet upon pick up. This was extremely frustrating because I only had questions for the vet which would not require me to leave my dog there for hours alone. I would not recommend this place unless your getting routine services, such as rabies shots etc., and that's if you're okay dropping your pet off and picking them up a few hours later.
