Banfield Pet Hospital

I’ve been a Banfield client for six years and paid for their monthly wellness plan the entire time. Unfortunately, my experience at Banfield Pelham was extremely disappointing. While the front desk staff (especially one kind attendant with locs) were compassionate and attentive, the medical care and communication were poor. Drop-off appointments are handled between surgeries, which meant I rarely spoke directly to a veterinarian. Most of my cat’s records were either blank or only listed what I was billed for — with little to no medical notes explaining diagnoses or treatment plans. This only happens if you book an in person appointment, which gets switched to a drop off appointment without anyone telling you, you just get an automated email leading up.to your appt saying "your drop off" i

Never have I ever had to wait over 7 hours for a regular checkup except at this location. TWICE. First, booking online doesn’t exactly correspond with their system, so things you selected online don’t transfer over except the date and time. Next, I understand things happen, but this is the second time I’ve been here and both times I’m waiting all day because I can’t go home and come back, it’s too far for me. And no updates btw. Used Banfield upstate and appts took maybe an hour.

The staff is very pleasant and helpful. They have taken care of my two puppies and now kitten with no problem. I have purchased their wellness plan for my puppies from 0-1year with the added flea and tick treatment but I honestly don't see the savings with their regular adult wellness plan. You still have to add on flea and tick treatment. I feel like it would be better going a la carte then paying the monthly program fee. However, this is a great place care facility located in one of my favorite pet stores so I can shop for my fur babies while they are being seen.

I had an excellent experience at Banfield Hospital with Dr. Josh Kolbert and his outstanding team. Dr. Kolbert demonstrated the highest level of professionalism and care, taking the time to listen attentively to my concerns and thoroughly explain every aspect of my pet’s care. His assistant, Alexis, was equally impressive professional, courteous, and very informative, ensuring I had the proper guidance throughout the visit. The front desk staff, Hennessy, Jaylen, and Megan, also deserve recognition. They were welcoming, polite, and professional, creating a friendly and positive environment from the moment I arrived. The check-in process was efficient, and I was seen promptly, which I greatly appreciated. The atmosphere was both warm and reassuring, making the overall experience far less st

On the contrary, for this to be me and my baby’s first time here Despite all of the negative feedback, I can honestly say I had a wonderful experience! my baby Ashton had to go for a full medical grooming, and also he went for his dental cleaning, and I am very pleased with his service that he received. The first time he was medically groomed, he was shaved bald to his skin in Florida. Whereas I took Ashton two times in New York and they did not shave him completely bald which I am thankful and very happy for that. First, one of the Receptionists called me a day before to inform me that the doctor would be in a little later than the drop off time that was scheduled for my baby. Secondly, I got to the appointment. My baby was seen I would say Roughly 20 minutes into the time that we were wa
