Great experience from beginning to end! The women at the desk were welcoming and nice! Jackie the vet tech was very knowledgeable and explained everything clearly. The see me on time and made time for questions! Our chihuahua mix was well treated and is on their optimal wellness plan which is a great preventative care option! Highly recommend! AND, the practice is ALL WOMEN, at least for the moment and I loved the caring energy from them all! Nico was happy! Thank you!

Dear Banfield On Tuesday, February 2, 2026, I took Mia for a dental cleaning and physical exam, which I left her in good hands trusting that you are professionals. I was told by the receptionist that the pickup time was 2 pm, and I asked my sister to pick her up and take her home. When I got home from work at 6 pm, I noticed something was off. They had shaved her back and tail area, leaving her looking horrible. Mia is 3 years old and has never been groomed because her fur is special and only a professional can do it without damaging it. I called the next morning to ask what happened, as I was furious that they would do this, especially since they didn't have to. The receptionist just said it wasn't done here. Banfield Pet Hospital is one of the most amazing veterinary clinics I have ever been to! The staff up front was kind and so welcoming! Adriana, located at the front desk, was sweet as can be and beyond patient with my family's needs and the doctor, Maria Smeriglio, was just a phenomenal bright light through an otherwise scary time. She was genuine, happy, and made the experience much less questionable and foreboding. She helped to ease my worries and made sure that I felt confident in the care my beloved fur baby was receiving. Not only is the staff super friendly and the establishment clean and tidy, but it is clear that their main focus is on the animals care, not to price gouge those who are already struggling. New policy- Drop off appointments for routine visits only are very inconvenient. You need to drop your pet off and they are ready to pick up in about 3 hours for something that takes 20mins. They sit in a cage for the most of the time and it forces you to go there twice instead of once, and ends up consuming your day. Poor customer service- I showed up 10 mins late to an appointment one time and called to let them know I’m running late. When I got there I was told I couldn’t be seen for another 2 weeks. Every time you call they put you on hold for at least 7 mins unless it’s an emergency. I constantly had to remind them to give me the prescription my dog needs every 6 months instead of them having it ready during the appointment.
