Banfield Pet Hospital

I brought my senior cat in for her six month Comprehensive exam today as part of her wellness plan. Unfortunately, during her visit, we discovered that her heart disease had advanced to the point where there's nothing that could be done. Every single staff member at this location had so much compassion, respect, and genuine caring for me and my family. They recommended a treatment plan, but then when they discovered how large her mass had grown, and that nothing could be done, they stopped and did not do the extra unnecessary test so that I was not out any additional money. I highly recommend this Banfield location. Truly amazing care.

I am extremely disappointed with the service and customer service received here at the McKinney location. They are just trying to get over. I brought in my pet in December 2025 and provided a free exam voucher at the time. However, come to find out now in Feb 2026 when trying to get a prescription refill that because I declined the prescription shot on site the physician and office staff LIED in their report and said I declined all services. When I spoke with the office manager today Feb 5 2026 he was just short, didn’t care and telling me no nothing happen. The physician had my pet behind the counter for over 30 min while I waited in the store. Booked an in-room appt for noon on the app. Was on time for my appt for a simple ear infection. Never saw a doctor, only a vet tech, who pulled him in the back and brought him out to me again for me to sit and wait on the front bench for 50 minutes while people walked by and he couldn’t settle. Their exam rooms were empty and I had to decline the ear wash 3 times to be heard because I have 3 bottles at home already

Dr. Kinsley is the best! Our lab has been through some tough times and he has always taken great care of her. The staff has always helped us. The insurance offered helps to keep costs down.

Made an appointment for 8am this morning, I walk in and they tell me that I have to drop off my pets because the docto (Dr. Harlan) has to do surgeries first. What is the point of booking an appointment if the doctor isn’t even going to be available?? And the receptionist with blonde short hair just completely didn’t care. Will never return to this Banfield again. Just awful.
