Azalea Dog Training Club

I have taken and observed countless classes at ADTC over many years and although not a member, I have never been around such kind instructors. From Cathey with the basic puppy class, to Diane with Nose work, they are all amazing instructors and even better humans. Wilmington is lucky to have such a dedicated group of volunteers. They are hands down the best dog training group that I have found in multiple states. The people are all extremely compassionate and knowledgeable. They helped me tremendously with a very difficult dog and made all the difference for my dog and my family! It is a great asset to our community and I cannot recommend them more highly!!!! Absolutely fabulous trainer and facility! What a Wilmington gem! We learned about ADTC through a friend who ran into a perfectly well-behaved dog while on a walk and found out that the owner and dog had been through a class or two at ADTC. We quickly called ADTC and the nice person who answered the phone gave us instructions on how to register for a class and gave us advice on which class to register. After the first class, our dog seemed to see me as the leader of the pack, and not him. Our trainer, Susan Jackson, was so patient and answered all of the owners' many questions. Azalea Dog Training is the best. I moved here from another state and they were so welcoming. All the instructors are wonderful and willing to help. They offer a wide variety of classes. Highly recommend this facility.
