In 37 years, this is the first time I've been charged with a service not performed and prescribed medication for something the vet found no evidence of. 2 cats were brought in (10/14/25) that were scratching around the neck/ears and shaking their heads. Ear swabs were done on one cat, and the cytology ear showed no fleas/mites. Dr Chintis then made 3 quick swipes with a flea comb, found no fleas/mites but still prescribes an expensive 1 dose ea medication ($106) for fleas/mites telling me that doesn't mean there weren't any. Yes, that is what it should mean or more thoroughly comb not only this cat, but also my other one to confirm. But out the door she went. She spent under 5 minutes with one cat. I was then also charged $60 for an exam on the second cat that was never even taken o

Brought our dog here for a chronic issue that he has been seen for multiple times. Spent tons of money and lots of time to continue to be frustrated and have our dog still be suffering. Was ultimately told it was probably cancer and he would need a biopsy to confirm and to consider his quality of life. Came here for a second opinion and the vet and staff were super helpful and nice. They talked through the treatment plan and explained why they wanted to do the treatments they recommended. Ultimately decided cancer was much lower on the differentials and have given me hope that we can have a few more years of our happy healthy senior boy.

Avra Vet Clinic is fantastic. They've been kind, prompt and professional with my dog and cats care. They are straight about their prices and provide helpful feedback. I would recommend them to anyone.

Had to have our dog put down, Dr, and staff are very compassionate and friendly but Professional and direct, which is what I needed. I would definitely recommend them and we will use them for all our animals going forward

I have a husky (Prince) and German Shepard (Loki) and Prince loves coming here. Loki hates leaving the house lol but The ver and assistants are all a really great team. They love your pets just as much as you do. They've helped us so much! Best vet clinic we've been too!
