Avenue Pet Shoppe

Went to take my 13 and a 1/2 pound dog to get his haircut. I've been going there for a year. The 2 ladies who do the grooming do a great job. The only thing that was sad today is to come to find out that last year to get his grooming done was like 60 something. This year, the owner decided to be greedy and bump it up to 80 to have a 13 and a 1/2 pound dog groomed. Yeah, I guess in short, if you have money to throw away. It's a great place to go to, but if you're like me and you're disabled, you're on fixed money, that kinda sucks it sucks. Especially things that the 2 ladies do such a good job.

I came here with my mini pit bull mix, Peanut a week ago. She does NOT like her paws touched and nips a little whenever I try to cut her nails. However, I took my baby girl here to Cassi. Hands down best experience for both me and my pup. Cassi managed to trim her nails with ease and very quickly too. We were in and out in less than 10 minutes. Peanut is friendly to everyone, but to let Cassi do her nails without any problems tells me Peanut must’ve loved her a lot, which speaks volumes. I will definitely continue taking my dogs here! No question about it.

I brought in a severely matted rescue dog. Leece, the groomer was so patient and kind. She made this matted mess into a gorgeous pup! They got us in within days of the rescue as well. The staff treats you like family the minute you walk through the door. The store and grooming areas are clean and well organized. They have a great selection of high quality pet food, treats and accessories...and even some unique items I haven't seen in other stores I highly recommend them! This store is a gem in Racine.

Best little locally owned pet shop! The owner is so kind and all around wonderful and the employees are always super helpful.

They helped me find a food for my dog whom just had food sensitivity testing and is very limited in what she can eat. So grateful to have found a place that carries safe healthy food that I could leave the store with that day.
