We are so fortunate and grateful Dr. Brandes is our vet and he is the best!! At the time we got Simba, we struggled a little and needed to take Simba to see other vets before we could get scheduled with Dr. Brandes. Since then we know we found the best vet and team here. They are kind, love, and care. The first few times of our visit, Simba was still very small and the operator and nurse always prepared the room to be ready for us to get in since they worried Simba might have been frightened by other dogs. Dr. Brandes has cared for our Simba since 2023 from the time Simba was just 2 month olds, and now Simba is a big boy. Love Thrive on Metric!! The front office staff, vet techs, and doctors are all amazing! They go above and beyond and do whatever is necessary to take care of my three kitties. I’ve used them for all three cats from routine care, shots, and critical moments. Both doctors I’ve encountered are incredibly smart, relatable, and really just want what’s best for my kitties. I always leave feeling confident about the quality of care my cats received. The staff even calls you for critical follow ups on my kitties or if they are sick they actually take the time to call me and just check up on their progress. I can book appointments online and they even have affordable pet programs or insurance which save you some money on visits. You need a team like this when caring for animals and I’m very satisfi

Everyone from the front desk, vet assistant, to vet doctors are all super friendly, constantly checking up on our pet and make us feel like our loved ones are in the best care. Would recommend 100% to everyone. We had a bad diagnosis from our previous vet and the staff here found a better, cheaper solution and our cat Mishka is feeling better and so much happier already.

Our many dogs have been patients of Dr Mark Cotnam throughout the years since he started practicing in Austin. And, now we add Dr Brandes. The support staff is just the best. You will not find a better Veterinary practice anywhere.
