I am thankful for the support of AHS. Espresso and Latte are sweet kittens and have learned to love their new homes and family members. We are in love with these kittens and can’t wait to see how they will continue to change as they grow into adults. Thank you so much AHS! From 2 months old to now 7 months old, it’s been an exciting 5 months together.

Highly recommend adopting from here! Everyone is so nice and helpful. I adopted my first cat 2 years ago from here and 2 weeks ago my kitten who has adjusted amazingly into our family.

I recently adopted the sweetest kitty in the world from the Humane Society in Austin. Preston, formerly Grayson, was very talkative and caught my attention complaining about his lime sulfur bath from earlier that day. The process to meet with him was explained by an incredibly helpful volunteer, was very easy, and every question I had between meeting with one of the workers about what we were looking for and the likes was answered by anyone we asked. The facility was incredibly well maintained, everyone was knowledgeable and kind, and it was a very positive experience for me; We adopted Preston after I was insisting I wasn't getting a cat that day, as they had dropped adoption fees to $50 that day for what I believe was a promotion of some nature. He was neutered and had a very clean bil

The lack of communication in this place. I spoke with someone on the IG. She told me a dog was available and to come before 7pm. I immediately stated I’ll be on the way, Will be there in 40mins. She even responded “hopefully it works out”. She even reposted him saying he’s available after our conversation. I get there excited and immediately I ask about the dog. The lady at the computer by the door was super dry and rude, and told me there’s two holds so I can’t even see him. I was like I literally just spoke to someone on IG and she told me to come before 7. She just kept saying he isn’t able to be seen. I text the IG lady asking for an explanation and she just said sorry things move fast. I feel played. I get we want these dogs adopted, but there should be a better system for us who have

A few days ago we went to this location looking to adopt a cat. The staff was friendly and incredibly attentive. They had us fill out forms asking about what kind of animal we were looking to adopt, what kind of precautions we would take to ensure proper care of our pet etc. We found Grayson (now named Preston Gray Garvey) and instantly knew he needed to be ours. Preston’s chart included information on his age and behavior, said that he was friendly and good around other cats. That was really helpful in making sure our decision to adopt him was well informed. After we made our choice, we were directed to a desk where a very lovely person walked us through his medical history, if he had contact with any sick cats, any possibility of illness, and how to take care of him properly. She even
