Aurora Animal Clinic

This vet failed to diagnose Bobcat fever, even removed a tick from his nape under his tick collar. Told us the season was wrong for it to be Bobcat fever and refused to run labs to check, told us it was "a UTI that he couldn't test since Bandit couldn't pee" our cat was losing weight rapidly wouldn't eat and slept all day refusing to move. After one week of UTI treatment he didn't improve. Went for followup and doc says maybe a coyote shook him up. Four weeks after first visit he was euthanized in Springfield with the cause confirmed as Bobcat Fever. Springfield stated that had he been given the correct meds he could have lived. Bandit Jr was a sweetheart we rescued three years prior. He loved the outdoors. Loved to snuggle. Makes my wife cry every time we drive down church st.

we took our 9 week old pup there to get checked, they told us she had parvo and wouldn't do any thing for us other that pay for a $300 medicine. then tried to charges to for being seen by the vet and he never touched our dog. the very next day she was eating food on her own and running around and playing like normal. she never had parvo because if she did the likely hood of her making it through that night was very slim because that was day 3 of her being sick. this place is a joke and they need their license taken away and to be shut down they wont help or do anything for you unless you do what they say and they are just out for money. we will never take our pets back to this place and no one should ever go hereto have a pet checked out.

My 2 year old Belgian Malinois had an umbilical hernia that burst open. Dr. Bill Bader and Dr.Ryan Jones did surgery that fixed him up. Thank you so much again for the GREAT work. I also appreciate the Great Staff that work there. Seems like Everyone truly cares about all of God's animals. One more thing, the price was more than fair. Best I've EVER seen!!!

Update- we now go to Aurora Animal Clinic for all our pets needs. They have walk-in times, friendly service and are way better on price. We drive from Republic as Aurora is our preferred clinic. Original review- We saw the vet after some not-so-encouraging visits to another facility. I was very happy with the visit and they were much more attentive to my pet's needs. We were able to get an appointment in a reasonable time and they were super friendly. We left with confidence that we didn't get at a different vet. Also, the price was about half what I paid at a different vet. I highly recommend it and will certainly return with our pet's needs. Thank you!

Our dog, Happy, was new to their Clinic. They fit us in on a very busy day during their walk-in clinic. He was very ill and the vet got him in and out in about ten minutes with three shots, sent home some antibiotics. Doctor seemed a little grumpy but it was probably just because of the pressure of a very busy day, and the fact that Happy was ill and he usually doesn't see sick dogs on days that are for healthy dogs. Their emergency hours are after 2pm I believe, and we were there around 12pm. They fit us right in, though, and Doc seemed to be very knowledgeable and confident about what was needed and didn't go for expensive tests right away. Thumbs up for all the staff. We will be returning.
