Atlantic Veterinary Internal Medicine & Oncology - Annapolis

We had to take our little Chihuahua in to Dr. Zacuto for breathing issues, and chronic ear issues. She listened, and advised what tests may need to be done. We are doing steps she suggested in order to find an answer. She was so kind, her staff is very caring as well. It's a wonderful clean facility. I recommend them, and CVCA. Robbi took time to talk to me when we had a scary incident and got us in sooner then our scheduled appt. She was understanding and so very kind. Perry was our vet technician, she was gentle and sweet to our little guy when taking him back for his exam. We are hoping we can find a clear answer on our little ones issues. The procedures are very expensive, but Dr. Zacuto suggested the medication route first so we could see if that helps. We appreciate them. Very much.

My dog had a procedure to evaluate her airways. She had been having breathing problems and was first in the emergency room which is in the same facility. Honestly, the practice runs better than a human hospital. I had extensive conversations with several excellent doctors. They gave a detailed write-up of all of our interactions and all of the findings. And most importantly, my dog is recovering thanks to their care.

Had an excellent experience here with my 12 year old chihuahua! We didn't have to wait long when we arrived, and were roomed right away. The doctor was kind and very thorough explaining everything. It is very obvious everyone here genuinely cares about animals- it was an all-around pleasant experience despite it being a stressful time. And my dog did not have cancer, so a happy ending!!

This is my first encounter with AVIM&O. My Radiologist Veterinarian said I should get an appointment with internal medicine as soon as possible for my dog. When I called the soonest appointment was two months out. Two days later, I received a call and the appointment was changed for three weeks out. They really do try to accommodate the patient. The appointment with Dr. Gonzales went very well, even though it wasn’t the greatest news. I was given three options of treatment for my dog. Dr. Gonzales seemed very knowledgeable and very concerned about my dogs condition. I was advised to take the evening to think about the options that were given to me. Dr. Gonzales called the next morning and we discussed all of my dogs options again. I opted for an exploratory abdominal operation with Dr. Wol

Always a great experience. The staff and Dr. Ronaldo are always kind, patient, and thorough. I'm forever grateful to them for giving me more time with my pup who was treated for lymphoma.
