Atlantic K9, and all the trainers, are the absolute BEST! From the moment I was considering bringing my 3 year old Golden Retriever to them for board and train, they were incredibly informative and walked me through the whole process. Kylie, Brayden, Jill and Tami were the staff I primarily worked with and they were all fantastic. When I dropped my pup off, they showed me where he would be staying, and ran through the daily routines. The area where they are is awesome- 10 acres with so much room for play and training! They gave me frequent updates, as well as pictures each day, and I could always text them asking how my pup was doing. I originally reached out to Atlantic K9 Training because my one-year-old Cane Corso/Pittie mix, Brinley, was getting a little too strong for me to handle. She’s incredibly sweet and submissive with other dogs, but she loved to jump on people and had a habit of pulling hard on the leash during walks. At 60 pounds, it was definitely a lot to manage! From the start, Kylie and the Atlantic K9 team were amazing—professional, knowledgeable, and so caring. Brinley attended their two-week bootcamp, and I’ll admit, it was hard sending her away for that long with no visits. We enrolled our 10½ week old Charcoal English Lab, Willow, in their puppy boot camp when we had to travel right after bringing her home. From the very first call with Tami to speaking with Kathleen and Cayla before Willow arrived, we immediately felt confident we had found the right place. We had a wonderful experience with Atlantic K9. As our family grew, our 7.5-year-old husky mix became more nervous and protective, so we decided to refresh her training. The team was kind, professional, and understanding of our situation. After four weeks, Blue came home calmer, more responsive, and confident again. Highly recommend Atlantic K9!

We sent our 7 month old puppy to Atlantic k9 for the 2 week boot camp. She already had a baseline of training that we worked consistently at home, but Atlantic k9 took her to the next level. The e-collar training has been especially helpful, we can confidently take her on off leash walks/hikes. The facility is incredible and every worker there is knowledgeable and truly cares about the well being of the dogs.
