Atlantic Equine Services are incredible veterinarians! They’ve treated multiple horses of mine over nearly 10 years, consistently with great success, kindness, and exceptional attention to detail. They are extremely skilled at what they do and always take the time to answer the many, many questions I come up with. During my first experience with Dr. Maher, he discovered that my horse had a chipped kneecap, a damaged DDET, and a torn collateral ligament resulting from a turnout injury. The first veterinarians (from a different practice) who had X-rayed and ultrasounded my horse missed all three injuries. Dr. Christine Cormier is hands down the absolute best sports medicine vet in the business. She is kind, compassionate, and brilliant. I have had the privilege of being a client of hers through two horses and 5 years. She is thorough and listens to your concerns. Her plans are thoughtful and always for the best of the horse. My horse (and the owner) just adore her. She is often accompanied by vet tech extraordinaire Katie.

Dr. Bartol and her team took great care of my gelding when he needed to be scoped for ulcers. I appreciate their compassion and effort in making him (and me) feel comfortable throughout the process. We now have a good plan of action moving forward and I feel confident with his care.

I am so thankful for Dr. Maher and the Atlantic Equine team. They are the best of the best. I have known Dr. Maher for over 10 years and he has always provided the best care for my horses. He is available at all hours of the day and will drop anything he’s doing to help out.
