Atlanta Humane Society - Roswell

This building is the old L GE community banking spot. They have made it super cute in there. They are housing cats, only dogs are kept somewhere else. Their hours are like 6 or 7. So it's really cool because you can go in and adopt an animal. You can become a foster parent, or you can just come in. And hang out with the cats and play with them. Take your kids. Let them see how much responsibility animals are before you go out and grab them one My son and I try to go once a week just to let him see cats are funny acting creatures, but he loves them. So this is how he gets his fix and I don't have to adopt any cats.

My experience was amazing. Greeted as soon as we walked in. I came to look at a cat named chin chin and it was free adoption weeken. I adopted her right away. It’s like the stars aligned not just for me but for me and chin chin. I know the staff loved having chin chin since she’d been there and we’re happy she was going to a forever home. Tanice helped us right away. She was soooooooo amazing made me feel comfortable and the process very smooth. She brought me a bag of food and some pate for chin chin and went thru the papers with me so I could understand everything. Tanice was really so great and so helpful. Mike was also very nice and helpful as well. I left not sure how it was going to go and ended up walking out maybe and hour later with chin chin and everything was perfect. The whole

My second experience with the Atlanta Humane Society was great just like the first. This time I went to the Roswell location. The staff were helpful and friendly. I left with my newest fur baby

This is the best animal shelter I’ve ever been to. I had a great experience here. The facility is super clean and smells good and staff are all super friendly and have a positive attitude. You can tell they really love the animals. All the cats are well taken care of and are healthy and clean. I adopted Mr Man who I have named Brody. My adoption counselor was fabulous. They have chipped him and he’s fully vetted and neutered. I’m loving my new fur baby. Thank you so much 😻

We adopted 2 kittens this week from the Atlanta Humane Society and it was such a positive and smooth experience. The foster parents were at the location on this day which made it feel so personal as well. My daughter and I felt so comfortable and confident that these animals are loved and everyone at the Humane Society made us feel so excited to be able to bring 2 babies home . They are doing amazing and if we decide to adopt again we would definitely go back to the Atlanta Humane Society, especially to the Roswell location.
