My fiancé has been trying to find a kitty since his best furry friend of 15 years passed away earlier this year and this place has been so wonderful and caring trying to help him find a one that suits him. He’s got a specific cat in mind so it’s been difficult for him, but they’ve been very patient. My son has started volunteering here in the meantime and I occasionally help out too. All the workers are super friendly and kind and absolutely love what they do. Every cat and kitten I’ve seen come through here has left content and more socialized. Even the skittish kitties have turned into sweet and loving pets thanks to the love and care provided by these workers and volunteers. These pictures are separate visits over the last 4 months(despite him being in the same outfit somehow 😂)
In 2017, I adopted my sweet girl Cookie from this shelter. She’d been there for five months, passed over time and again but fate had other plans. Our decision to bring her home was impulsive, but it became one of the most meaningful chapters of my life. Cookie lived a beautiful, full life, and though she’s now crossed the rainbow bridge, I’ll always be deeply thankful to the team who kept her safe until the universe brought us together. She was our once-in-a-lifetime companion.
I adopted my kitten Ping Pong from here in 2017. Adoption process was smooth and I love my little guy so much! Fee was $60 and they require first time pet owners to go to a specific vet nearby. You must spay/neuter your kitten before they turn 6 months and keep up with all vaccinations. I think the shelter threatens to take your cat back if you don't. This shelter takes good care to screen that adopters will keep their innocent pets safe from harm.
Great staff, very helpful when I wanted to donate pet supplies.
This shelter is packed with many beautiful kittens, and they all seem to be very well cared for. The volunteers were very knowledgeable and friendly, and so was the manager of the facility. They certainly do their best to ensure that the animals go to a loving home. I adopted a kitten from here about a week ago, and I am very satisfied. He is a healthy and happy boy. Would definitely recommend this shelter!! :)
