The human society puppy classes are AMAZING! It was so helpful with learning about my puppy and how to shape his behavior and do training with him through positive reinforcement. Pia and the staff were so great. It is such a welcoming and positive environment. We are signed up for the next class session already. I highly recommend!

I’m incredibly grateful to Connie, Richard and the team for helping me when I had situation needing to rehome an elderly dog. It was emotionally so hard to do and they helped me every step of the way and took the time ask questions, reassured me, assessed the situation promptly offering me solutions and guided me along the way. They provided resources and multiple step plans as well as a A, B and C plan. They didn’t have to do all of this for my family and I but they DID. My elderly dog now has the best situation I could dream of for his golden years and I owe a huge portion of that reality to their team. Thank you from my family, Mugen and his new family. They CARE! ❤️

We just finished up the Canine Manners training series with PIA from Asheville Humane Society and it was fantastic! Our dog is an energetic 8 month old lab and the positive reinforcement training is perfect for an always hungry lab. The dog training has been amazing, he was even complimented by the vet when they took him back for an exam, he listened for sit, down, stay! We are very pleased and look forward to beyond basics class in a few months.

This class has been an excellent dog training class! Our dog has improved dramatically, through mostly positive reinforcement his behavior has improved, his listening also! Mars our instructor is wonderful! Such a great value also, saves a lot of money doing this course! Thank you!

Through Asheville Human Society's training classes - Kindergarten for puppies, Basic manners and Beyond manners - we have learned to use positive reinforcement for training our dog Pete. Because this method is new for me, it has change me and allowed me to discovered Pete's true character. I have to add that brings me so much joy when I see Pete in public places mastering what he has learned in class. He is almost 7 months in the video.
