Dr Smith is the BEST. We have gone to Arapahoe since we got our first dog. He takes such excellent and compassionate care of these furry family members. Truly a premium vet hospital

Been taking animals here for over a decade. They have done everything from basic dog and cat care to surgery on my elderly rabbit to grooming (beak trim) on my large parrots to diagnosing and treating parasites on my large tortoise. Whenever my dog gets into something I feel confident I can have her be seen within a few hours, and then still have her be thrilled for a day of daycare the following week. And when my cat broke his foot one summer they were able to see him every week for 6 weeks to reapply his hated cast/bandage, no matter how much he hated them by the end. Great care and great people!

Would give zero stars if possible. My husband and son took our cat in because she was breathing quickly. Paid a lot of money for X-rays and was diagnosed inflamed lungs. Received a hand written prescription from the Vet for a steroid, because they did not have this drug onsite. Took it to the pharmacy and they said they couldn’t fill it and would have to call the hospital because of no provider details on the script. Reached back out to the pharmacy a day later and they said they called the hospital twice with no response. My Husband then called the Arapahoe Animal Hospital and asked them to please call the pharmacy as our cat was suffering. My daughter lives in Boulder for college while we’re back home in Virginia, and she has her little cat with her there. When her cat accidentally got out, someone thankfully brought her to Arapahoe Animal Hospital. The staff contacted us right away, kept her safe overnight, and took such wonderful care of her until my daughter could pick her up. We are so grateful for their kindness and professionalism—it’s clear they truly love and care for animals. I highly recommend this clinic!

As they have for the 20+ years I’ve been using them for veterinary services for my pets, Arapahoe Animal Hospital’s staff performed Sasha’s spay last Friday professionally and with great care, she was in good spirits that night and every day of recovery since.
