We were referred to APAWS by some friends. I was a bit hesitant after reading some reviews. But let me tell you that every single visit was great. Our daughter's dog had happy tail that would not heal. They helped us treat it and wrap it several times over several different visits. My daughter's dog would happen to find a way to remove the wrapping even with his cone on. We finally had to make the decision to amputate his tail as it got infected. They were able to get us in a day later for the surgery. Hands down the best team! I honestly can't believe we found such an amazing vet that just loves our pup and has reasonable prices. Thanks APAWS crew!

my 3 cats, 1 now euthanized have been patronizing this clinic for 2.5yrs. the techs and assistants have been attentive. HOWEVER, this clinic cant seem to hire and retain a regular DVM. Dr. Mallory has been around since clinic inception. Others have been in and out. Continuity of care is lacking! Why cant you retain a DVM? do you not provide a competitive salary, benefits or clinic atmosphere(eg lab equipment, surgical equipment, staff knowledge) that is appropriate to retain a regular DVM and staff? i dont know? what i do know is the clinic needs to improve on that aspect. my cats have been professionally examined and treated, BUT i'd sure like to see the same DVM and staff 2 visits in a row.

I had a male cat experiencing a UTI, which is very serious and can go south in a heartbeat. My cat was neutered there so he was an established patient already. However, when I called them to get him in for the UTI, they told me that they would not get him in for two weeks. Definitely not the place to go in an emergency.

We had to put our 14 year old dog Frankie to sleep December 3rd. Everything was great from the phone call for information, scheduling and the service itself. The staff was kind, compassionate, understanding and helpful. The vet and tech did an amazing job walking us through the process and explaining everything in detail, answering any questions we had and moving at our own pace. Not one person rushed us in any way, shape or form and I'm greatful for that. They have a special room for pets to be with their family while they make that journey to the rainbow bridge. It's cozy, homey and not the uncomfortable sterile clinical style room you normally say goodbye in. There is a large couch, multiple different size pet beds, an ottoman, sound machine, treats for dogs and kitties and of course c

I had been going here for years without issue until....I recently took my kitten there for an upper respiratory infection and was given liquid oral antibiotics. They worked for a bit but the infection came back. I took him back and they took him out of the room for blood work. When they brought him back his whole bottom half was wet. I thought it was odd because it wasn't urine or anything (according to them). Within a week of that appointment my kitten couldn't use his back half at all. He is paralyzed from the waist down....we took him back and they pretty much blew it off and said "oh it'll fix itself". He still can't use any part of his back half!! Then they tell us "he was a difficult one to get blood work from because he squims". They acted like it was the kittens fault it happened!
