Can I vote no stars? Stan Barwise recommended AWS over a decade ago. He was right. They took very good care of our cat, Mr. Magoo. I had to have him euthanized in December, 2022. He was 22 years old. They cared about him and me. Last June, my wife talked me into adopting (rescuing) Sophie & Luna from AWS. In January, when it was time to schedule care, I was told, late April for new patients. I spoke with 3 people. They didn't care. The last person was Heidi Marston, THE NEW EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR. She wrote, "Thank you for adopting from AWS and for all your support!" I called Kennebunk Veterinary Hospital and Sophie & Luna were seen in a week. There's a new sheriff in town at AWS and it's not the same AWS that Stan Barwise recommended. Just be careful.

Adoption process was super quick and easy! I’m obsessed with my new bun bun, Totoro. This middle aged lady is going to have a very loved rest of her life

Love the staff. He had a great people that take care of the animals very well, and they appreciate their customers and show appreciation.

Overall I love this place. My only concern is my dog had a bad ear infection and was givin a shot (30 day slow release) because the last antibiotics didn't work. When i return after 30 days for an updated on another shot . NO ONE ! Looked in his ear to tell me it was ok. The tech told me I had to make another appointment.. whats the sense of getting a senior discount . If I have to use the money I save to return foer a follow up that should have been included in the first visitPayment. I have 4 animals .I love them all . I don't want to lose any of them to an infection that could have been prevented

Awesome people!!! Amazing place. My father ended up with 5 rabbits that were abandoned by his ex girlfriend and the animal welfare society took all 5 without question really. The process was very easy and fast. If you have a pet or pets you need to get rid of I would recommend asking the animal welfare society if they can take them in. Then then adopt the animals off for a small fee depending on the animal.
