I have had a few experiences with Animal Urgent Care of South Orange County. Each one of them has been exceptional. The staff is very friendly, informative and supportive. The facility is clean, quiet and organized. The emergency care for my dogs was managed quickly and professionally every time. There was no immediate pressure to have to fill out paperwork beforehand, or even mention of payment information taken until the animal was taken back to start their assessment. Dr. Backus is truly exceptional. She is prompt, efficient, and deeply compassionate toward both her patients and their owners. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I had an excellent experience with Animal Urgent Care when my dog was diagnosed with pancreatitis and bloody stool. The entire team was extremely professional, respectful, and responsive to every request and concern I had. They were not only knowledgeable but also genuinely kind, sympathetic, and compassionate during a very stressful time. What truly stood out is that they offer advanced treatments like blood transfusions and specialized medications that are hard to find elsewhere. They took the time to explain everything clearly and treated my pet as if it were their own. I’m very grateful for their care and highly recommend Animal Urgent Care to anyone needing urgent or specialized veterinary services.

Having to drive your pet to the emergency vet in a rain storm and traffic is unnerving enough, but as soon as I got to the clinic, I was greeted by a compassionate, calm and welcoming staff. They immediately took my animal and put me in around while they diagnosed, they came in and gave me a few options and within an hour I was on my way with a happy pup. That’s the best outcome you could help for and I am so appreciative of that staff and their kindness and professionalism luckily for me as of January 1 they were open 24 hours a day I went in at 7 PM on a Saturday evening.

My 8 month old cat was peeing blood and I brought her in last night. They were the closest animal urgent care, that was open 24 hours. They were really nice and very helpful. Doctor Cross saw my cat and explained everything thoroughly. Super supportive and kind. Definitely, if you need to take your animal to an urgent care, I recommend this place.
