Animal & Bird Clinic of Mission Viejo

We have been going to Animal & Bird Clinic of Mission Viejo for over a decade, and the care has always been exceptional. Everyone there is so caring and compassionate toward our girls, AshLeigh, Astrud, and Aspen. Every visit truly feels like seeing family. The entire team shows such genuine kindness, professionalism, and dedication to the animals they care for. Thank you all for the wonderful, nurturing care you have given our girls over the years.

Because I had moved and the drive became a 68 mile round trip, it had been around 14 years since I brought a pet to ABC, so unfortunately I had to find another clinic closer to me. This was only because my cat Kimba couldn’t handle being in the car for very long and would really stress out. Unfortunately, after 16 wonderful years, we had to say goodbye to her and she is now at the Rainbow Bridge with our other beloved pets we had lost throughout the years. My daughter (a former employee at ABC) suggested I take my new cat Wolfgang who started out as being a totally feral cat to ABC for his first exam, vaccines and neutering. Had visited family in Orange County when my dog had an accident, on a Sunday, resulting in an ulcerated cornea. The emergency vet diagnosed and treated the condition and I was instructed to have the eye checked in a week. Since my visit was going to be over a week, I contact Animal and Bird Clinic , explained the situation and received an appointment for 7 days after the incident. The clinic staff were exceptionally helpful, the facility was clean and well maintained with a cheery waiting area. My wait to be seen was short. The vet was so nice, knowledgeable, transparent, and handled my dog in a careful and gentle manner. Our family has been part of Animal &Bird Clinic for years now. The wonderful vets here have taken care of our guinea pigs and bearded dragon. They specialize in exotic animals which is rare here in South OC. We never feel rushed and they take the time to follow up with phone calls as part of their after-care. Highly recommend.
