Animal Specialty & Emergency Hospital

I brought my Teo Papillons in for emergency careafter spending the weekend trying to get them well. They are both old girls and therefore at risk. The Animal specialty care too wonderful care of them listening to my explanation of both and how they react in Vet offices. Dr Andrew saw them both and laid out a plan for their care to ensure both recovered from the illness. Also a full exam was done giving me as an pet Mom information to help me care for them individually.

I am writing this review to highly recommend and recognize Amanda for their outstanding work at your clinic. Amanda went above and beyond to provide my dog with patience, compassion and expertise. We cannot say enough wonderful things about Rockledge Specialty & Emergency Hospital and the care they have given our baby cat, Eddie!!! His journey has NOT been simple, and they have supported us medically and emotionally every step of the way. Eddie came in very sick, and instead of guessing or rushing, the team took a very thoughtful and thorough approach. He had so many things done, including staying overnight multiple times, an echocardiogram, ultrasounds, blood work, PCV checks, and multiple rounds of testing to try to understand what was happening. It was all soooo confusing as to what was wrong with him, but the team never gave up. I have to share what a wonderful experience we have had with Dr. Doerr. Finding a veterinarian dermatologist with the amount of passion and care Dr. Doerr has is exactly what we needed for our Zoe. We adopted Zoe with an existing serious and rare skin condition as a kitten. Dr. Doerr prescribed exactly the right treatment plan for Zoe. Dr. Doerr is exactly what veterinarian medicine needs! She should absolutely publish a paper on her successful treatment of our Zoe. We are so grateful!! Zoe is happy, healthy and beautiful!

We recently had to make the devastating decision to say goodbye to Copper. Copper was our loyal and loving best friend for 13 years. While this was incredibly painful, Heather made a world of difference. Her compassion and gentleness were evident from the moment we met. The entire staff treated us with such dignity and gave us the space and grace we needed to say goodbye. We are so grateful for Heather's kindness during one of the hardest days. We will never forget her compassion during this difficult time.
