I had the pleasure of working with Animal Samaritans for nearly 3 years. My cat had been diagnosed with GI lymphoma and we were referred to the oncology department there from our vet and had the kindest most compassionate oncologist Dr. Baldanza (sorry if I misspelled it!) and he did everything and every treatment he could to try and get my boys body ahead of the cancer. He guided us with compassion as well as honesty and it ultimately bought us nearly three years. The staff was fine, Sam being the better to handle our kid since he was a grump and in the end he really adjusted only to her. Is it expensive? We recently lost our pit bull so we took him in to get cremated. We took him in on a Thursday and we were told we’d get him back the following Tuesday. Got the call Tuesday saying he was still being “processed” and wouldn’t be ready until Friday. Got a call Friday saying he’s ready but they close early (as soon as they were done with the patients they were attending) my partner explained that he was at work and he wouldn’t be able to make it on time. They insensitively said “Can’t you come in on your lunch break?”. Today, being Saturday, my partner rushed from work and, of course, they closed early again!! No call to give us the heads up, nothing. We were so hopeful to finally get our fur baby home. We are beyond angry. The lack of empathy and the lack of professionalism has made a horrib

Had to bring our cat in to get an aura hematoma checked out. They gave us a few different options and were very helpful and knowledgeable about which direction to go. We did not have an appointment but we did get there first thing and called before to let them know we'd be coming in. There was a little bit of a wait but they really accommodated us and helped us as soon as they could even though we did not have a set appointment.

I brought my dog in for a check up hoping to get help for his tick problem and all I was told was he had one on him even though we could clearly see he was infested. They gave us a prescription and sent us to petco or petsmart but we haven’t been able to obtain any medication due to the vet not picking up to confirm our prescription. We are doing all we can, but it would have been nice if the vet could of offered us something to help with the tick problem, but instead our dog is still infested and is starting to look ill.

I cannot express my gratitude with the entire team at Animal Samaritans we saw today: from Laurie at the front desk, to Juan and Dr. Gilabert. I was absolutely blown away by their professionalism. We have a very anxious, high energy Great Dane puppy - and he was anything but either of these things. Thank you, thank you, thank you.
