Animal Medical

My dog was recently diagnosed with Diabetes and Dr. Ferguson was so patient with my long list of questions and concerns. This review is long overdue actually as I’ve been taking my dogs to him for several years now and every time I see him, I’m blown away by his knowledge and ability to explain things in a way that is easy to understand. I never feel judged or coerced like at other places. It’s one of the few vet offices that’s not owned by a big corporation. He doesn’t nickel and dime you nor recommend anything unneeded. His whole team is phenomenal and go above and beyond to take care of us. I wish he took human patients. When he retires, there will be a vast void in vet options in Vancouver.

I have been bring my pup Pharaoh here and I can say that the staff is phenomenal. They take very good care of your fur children like they are their own. I have also brought my past pets here and always get treated the same. This place I would give 10 🌟

Dr. Ferguson is great. He's taken care of Ella, Stanley, Ellie, Bobby and Oliver over the 20+ years we've lived here in Vancouver. I wouldn't go anywhere else. This Vet loves animals and has exemplary care and patience, even when we, the pet owners, are freaking out! Regarding the one star reviews left for Animal Medical. It appears these people have time management issues not related to this place of business. Also, the one who said the Dr. didn't know what he was talking about should stop believing what they heard on their social network and listen to the pro. Anyway, yes, Dr. Ferguson is awesome and he loves our animals, that's what matters most. Thank you!!

I’m so happy I found animal medical! Dr. Ferguson is a wonderful veterinarian and always spends as much time with us as needed to make sure we cover any concerns and is very informative, never has unnecessary suggestions, is great at his job and is always caring. Highly recommend them for all animal needs!

Animal Medical has been our choice of veterinary care for our fur babies for the last 15+ years. Dr. Ferguson is the best! He’s patient, understanding, and really cares about animals. He gives you the facts, and gives you all the options available when necessary. I will always remember the time I took my little Maltese in for a vision concern and after we addressed the issue he asked “Is there anything else you had questions about?” And I replied “Well I do. But I probably have to make a separate appointment for that? It’s not related.” He looked at me and said “No. Please ask. I’m not one of those big fancy clinics where you have to make separate appointments for separate concerns and issues. You are already here, and if you have concerns I want to address that now while we have time.” It
