Animal Hospital of Oceanway

My dog has been going here for the last 3 years and we love Oceanway. My boy is reactive so the employees are super helpful & understanding in making both of us feel safe. He always warms up to them by the end of the appointment and Jessica is always a huge help. We won’t ever go anywhere else or at least, we go wherever Jessica goes :)

My senior pup recently had a couple experiences with a different vet that made us both very anxious about coming to an appointment. I warned them that he may be extra fearful, but that he also needed low-stress handling to keep from enforcing his new vet anxiety. Both the vet and tech were so patient, sitting on the floor and giving my dog a couple minutes to get to know them before beginning the exam. They were calm and gentle with him when he showed fear. We made it through the appointment without issue, and he was falling asleep in their laps by the end. Being this understanding and willing to work with a potentially reactive dog means so much to us! Thank you for being so kind to my Ollie!

Jessica, Dr Moore, and Megan all went above and beyond in helping my dog, from getting her skin and ears taken care of to the swift care of her mammary mass. They truly care for your pets as their own and the best animal hospital around. I drove from st Augustine to bring my dog here because they’re worth it. Great affordable prices and the staff from the front desk to the techs and doctors everyone 10/10. I want to give a special shout out to our tech Jessica for handling my dog so well, kept her calm and got her taken care of so quick. She did a phenomenal job cleaning her ears and was so gentle and sweet. If you want an amazing caring clinic bring your pets here! This review is for my visit from 10/7/25

They have done a awesome job with all of my pets. Especially my 2 dogs Diamond and Ruby. My older female Diamond had to have emergency surgery to be fixed while on her heat cycle. The surgery went great and they were able to work her in on a short notice. There price was cheaper than 6 other vets I spoke with. All of their staff are awesome and since the new doctors have come in it has been really great.

Third vet we have been to in Oceanway area over the last 2+ years. So far, the most personable, down to earth staff that listens really well. Our pup has Addison’s disease and the vet has already had experience treating this disease, took his labs seriously and understood what needed to be done. They also use an app for meds and appointments which is super convenient!
