Animal Hospital of McHenry

The staff at Animal Hospital of McHenry is wonderful; they know our animals and always respond to them according to their individual "personality". Dr. Schmitt demonstrates genuine care for our dogs and answers any questions we may have. We feel welcome when we are there. Finally, we can tell that the employees like working there; a telltale sign of a great place.

I won't take my animals anywhere else. My cat is the sweetest until he's at the vet, where he gets a little spicy. Dr. Tammy and her entire staff are so great with him! She is the only vet who has been able to provide answers and appropriate care for his condition. I only wish I had found her sooner.

Everyone there was so nice and accommodating for pretty much my first time going to the vet with my cat in 7 years. They answered all of my questions and were so gentle and loving to Sansa.

All the staff was professional and kind throughout. Anne especially was extremely helpful and allayed any doubts I had with the procedure, along with answering any questions I had with comprehensive knowledge in the follow-up visit.

Ozzie even though was nervous about his visit was made very comfortable andk treated with care. He wants to "Thank You" as he is feeling much better.😽
