Animal Hospital East

I normally go Animal South Hospital( the sister hospital),but it’s not open on Saturday, and my dog needed to be seen for a third treatment, so I went there. Dr. Wilson was on duty that day. From the moment I met her, I liked her. She’s personable, friendly, and informative. If Dr. Herron were to leave Animal South, I would go to East with my dog.

I have a 20 year old cat. I had an appointment for a week out. They called to tell me an earlier appointment became available, so I was able to take her in a few days sooner. My cat received an exam with blood test, etc. I am satisfied.

I have an over 10+ pet household and choose to regularly take them here (& the South office). Yes, they are a bit more expensive than others in the area, BUT what you get in return: **Quick appointments **Appointment availability, to include sick visits **Excellent service with front desk, techs, & veterinarians **Online prescription services We are excited to have found our “vet” in Asheville. Now, just need to win the lotto to pay for all of my pets. LOL

This is not my regular vet, but I was dealing with a VERY severe hot spot and freaking out dog who needed to be seen ASAP. I called AHE just to check before taking her to an emergency vet, and they had availability. The doctor and techs were wonderful, going above and beyond to help my sweet girl, even when she made a mess all over their table. I expected to be slapped with a massive bill for the exam, shaving, four separate medications, but the total was less than a regular visit to my usual vet. They could have easily upcharged or taken advantage of a dire situation and they didn’t. Very grateful for this place today and considering making them my full time vet!

Recently my cat had an accident and broke her jaw. The vets at Animal Hospital East were wonderul. Everyone at this practice is helpful, positive, and caring. This is the second or third time I've brought Lucky in and they always do a great job.
