We have trusted Dr. Tumkur Narasimhan and his team at the Animal Health Center of Salisbury since as far back as 2006 with our two older Labrador retrievers. From the very beginning, Dr. Tumkur’s compassion, knowledge, and ability to explain everything in detail gave us complete confidence in his care. He helped our dogs through a variety of health issues over the years, including cancer, chronic ear infections, and other serious medical conditions, always with thorough explanations and genuine concern for their well-being. Just wanted to express my sincere gratitude to this amazing team! I have been trying to get my dog's very overgrown nails clipped all over town, and nobody could handle his hyperactivity during the process. Stopped in here after my last botched effort at a local groomer, and the team figured out a way to keep him settled while they got it done! It took a lot of hands and a lot of patience and they weren't expecting us, but they knew how important it was and fit him in right then and there. We already use these folks as a regular vet, but they went above and beyond today, and now Galligher is a very happy boy!

My 6 year old dog "Zip" needed a tooth pulled and a cleaning. This requires a general anesthetic and an all day stay. I was NERVOUS! The result was excellent. The doctor and all the staff were kind, informative and true experts in the care of my little companion. We in Salisbury are so lucky to have the best veterinary care so near.

Recommend Recommend....this vet is great. I have been taking my dog their since he was a little puppy. The staff is very caring and the doctor is really good with the animal. This vet is very economical also best prices that I have seen.

The staff at Animal Health Center has been great with my puppy Buddy that was attacked by another dog a couple of weeks ago and suffered an EAR INJURY The Dr took him immediately..he had to have surgery...his wife ( office manager) was extremely helpful with keeping me updated with his progress and payment arrangements.... thankfully we did have pet insurance that she had suggested from our first visit a few months ago .. Caring , friendly office ..their vet techs are caring and friendly as well ... I've had animals all my life and this office. .staff, Dr ...are fantastic... My pup actually likes walking in that door to say hello to the staff ...it's as if he knows they helped him .. Gratitude beyond words... Thank you kindly for the wonderful service ...
