I also had a poor communication experience with the practice. I provided lots of information about my dog then told just shy of scheduling the appt. that they would call back. Hours later I called again only to be told they were on the phone with a possible new client and they would call back. When the woman did, she was very negative. First words were that she was very busy. After a barrage of negative statements taking nearly 5 minutes about what they won't and might due, I was offered an appt. over 3 weeks later. Then when I said no thank you, I was offered a drop off and come back later appt. within a week. After reading the reviews and seeing similar experiences, I've opted to roll the dice and wait for the better practice and not use this service. We never used the practice but every

They were very kind to my dog Winter as he was nervous due to his vision being impaired. The doctor and staff were pleasant They sent him home with medications I can already see a slight improvement and it's only been a few days I see the comments about the pricing but honestly it's no different than the regular vets . It's great to have this speciality for animals I am grateful I found them !

I should have read the reviews before bringing my dog here. They charged me $1,700 for a surgery including meds but didn't include the 10 day follow up appointment. They want another $200 just to do a check up! I'm sorry but the follow up/ check up should have been included. I'm sorry upset and my poor dog needs a follow up. I just can't believe this doctor. Fraud, money hungry and should be ashamed of himself I feel bad for the ladies that work for him.

In this day and age, people seem to take the time to complain, belittle or sabotage an individual but very few will give credit where it is due. Several months ago, much to my dismay and heartbreak, I discovered my young Siberian Husky had bilateral juvenile cataracts. Obviously I was devastated and anxious to have her seen by a top ophthalmologist. Upon entering Dr. Donohue’s office, I was immediately put at ease by the friendly and polite staff and the clean atmosphere. Dr. Donohue was amazing with my puppy! We were very happy with the treatment of our cat who lost her eye to an corneal sequestrum. Dr. Donahue was very thorough with our options and treated her with great care. Some reviews I've seen are pretty harsh. Yes it does seem like it's a bit too hectic there. But I think context is important they are basically the only animal eye specialist on the south shore so it is hectic. They are very regimental and thorough and that can come off as hard and harsh. But the care has been wonderful and glad they are there. Otherwise we would have to drive all the way to Walpole or Newton.
