Dr. Seyer and Lauren at Animal Eye Guys in Fort Myers are simply amazing. They have been caring for our rescue dog, Bennie, for over a year. Unfortunately, the eye drops stopped working, and we had to make the difficult decision to remove his eye last week. We were terrified, but Dr. Seyer and Lauren made the entire process so much easier with their kindness, empathy, and expertise. Dr. Seyer is incredibly loving and takes the time to explain everything in detail, making sure we felt comfortable and informed every step of the way. And Lauren cared for Bennie as if he were her own dog, showing so much compassion and warmth throughout. We are beyond grateful for their dedication and professionalism. Bennie is recovering beautifully, and we know it's because he had the best care possible. T

After being referred to Animal Eye Guys by our vet, I was skeptical as to using a dog "optometrist." I couldn't have been more wrong. The amount of compassion and care shown to our Frenchie is amazing and really helped our poor blind pup.

Dr. Seyer and the staff at the Animal Eye Guys in Fort Myers are amazing! When visiting on vacation my 15 year old dog developed a severe eye issue. The Animal Eye Guys got us in the same day, provided us with an extensive care care plan to help us save her eye (it was a 50% chance that she may need her eye removed due to the severity of the infection and inflammation), and a follow up appointment two days later to check her progress. I highly recommend this practice for all of your pets eye care needs.

Called to make an appointment and was able to get in the very next day, very polite, knowledgeable taking the time to explain every detail and upfront about everything that was done. Only if I knew about this place five months ago K9 Loki wouldn't have to go through so many different medications without a proper diagnosis. In less than 15 minutes the doctor was able to tell me exactly what was going on with K9 Loki, prescribed some eye drops, and asked to be updated in a month or contacted immediately if his eyes got any worse. I highly recommend if your working K9 or pet has any issues with their eyes seek out Animal Eye Guy's immediately and skip the months of your primary veterinarian trying to figure out what's going on.
