Animal Emergency Center of Temple- Belton

I can't thank the team at Animal Emergency Center of Temple enough for being there during such a critical time. I brought in a one wk old orphaned kitten we were trying to keep alive. Between the worry, lack of sleep, and feeling completely out of my depth, I was a wreck. Mike and Denise were absolute lifesavers!! They were incredibly calm and patient with me. They took the time to explain every step of the care process, which set my mind at ease. I truly don't think I could have done this without their expertise and support. Weeks later, the kitten is doing wonderfully! If you have a pet emergency, this is the team you want in your corner with their care and compassion

Went there in a Saturday night with my chiahuha having a infection and needing a emergency surgery. All the staffs and Doctors was extremely kind and took well care of us and my puppy. I’m so glad she came back home. She was at the hospital for 2 nights, come back home already eating and drinking. She way better than what I thought she would after a mass surgery like that. Dr Kingstad did a amazing job, I’m so glad and honestly surprised because it had a big chance of a negative answer but he did a great job. I’m glad my baby was in good hands. Ever penny was worth just to have her back home with me. Thank you so much!!!

Our sweet fur baby Paco got very sick suddenly on Christmas Day and we brought him here for treatment. God called Paco home the next morning but I truly believe they did everything possible to try and save him and to make him as comfortable as possible. The entire team was also very supportive of my wife & I during this tough time. There are no words in the english language that can adequately explain how grateful my wife & I are for each and every one of these people for sacrificing their Christmas so that out sweet baby could have the treatment he needed to be as comfortable as possible and to have the best opportunity to fight for his life. Took a kitten in after the regular vet neutered and docked the tail but he started bleeding an alarming amount. The person answering the phone gave us good advice and in we went. The facility is clean, comfortable, and confidence inspiring. The doctor gave excellent explanations and showed us in details what happened. We felt confident to leave our kitten overnight and, though he was a “spicy chicken nugget” they kept great care of him and he was much better off in the morning. The prices for night time service were reasonable and they even made us an unexpected refund of some unused charges in the morning. Would absolutely use again if we had to and recommend it to all.

I brought my 12 year old dog here a few weeks ago where they diagnosed her with idiopathic vestibular disease, something that typically clear up in a few days to a couple of weeks at most, but when her condition worsened over the next couple of days I took her back in and we decided it was best for her to stay over night for observation and so she could get some fluids. While we unfortunately had to make the decision to euthanize her the morning after I took her in the second time, the staff was apologetic for the misdiagnosis (which they couldn’t have known it was wrong at the time of diagnosis since she was presenting “textbook vestibular”) and for the loss of my dog.
