Animal Care Clinic of Largo

I cannot express enough how happy I am with this clinic. I took my sweet boy in today because he’s been feeling sick. For background my boy was adopted two months ago and is very stranger danger. The medical team took their time with him and made this such a positive experience for my baby. They won him over instantly with treats and also understanding and taking their time with him. The doctor is also amazing, I don’t feel like I’m being pushed to do the most expensive thing or unnecessary things, only what’s needed for a diagnosis.

The smell of wet dog was so overwhelming I couldn’t sit there anymore. Nearly $600 for a kitten with a uti was a lot more than I thought I was going to spend just to be told I may need to repeat bloodwork for a spay since it’ll be a different doctor, potentially costing an additional $500-$700. I felt the whole process was rushed, some issues I presented went overlooked or brushed off as normal, Idk I expected to have a way better experience here, I was grateful for the antibiotics and that my kitten was seen and not mistreated, but I plan to go elsewhere next time.

I went there to find out why my dog’s breath was smelling very badly And he was coughingand I had spoken to a female on the phone several times who seems concerned and we tried to get him in had to reschedule a couple times but finally got him in and I was feeling happy about it. When I got in I noticed right away the bedside manner of the vet tech wasn’t that good at all so I thought well maybe the doctor will be better. The doctor came in and shook my hand did not really do anything to my dog other than say he was gonna give him a chest x-ray because he had been doing some coughing he gave him a chest x-ray came back and told methat there was opaque Looking in my Dogs chest x-ray. I asked him what that meant he said he didn’t really know. He acted very strange like he was almost afraid o

Took my dog here for a bubble in her ear. Vet tech(guy) was withdrawn and not friendly. I actually told him I was gonna change to them and he had nothing to say. The vet came in…felt just as cold as the vet tech did. Told me he’d be back with a work up for the surgery. I ended up popping my head out the door after 12 minutes. They finally got moving and the vet tech came back. I asked him if he could just email me the estimate, then I had to remind him to take my email. I was the only customer there. Why was I waiting? Also dog acted weird and she never does so probably won’t go back. Took her to another vet and they drained it w/o sedation and it was 1/3 of the price.

I am SOOO grateful to this place! They were able to get me in the same day on a Saturday & saved me from an ER visit & gave me an amazing price. THANK YOU SO MUCH!
