Also, go here because they wont get you to buy crap worry worts like me think they need; and will delicately squash your friends' advice with facts! I appreciated dr spindel's advice to say the least. I drive an extra 40min-great group of people at the ark that are genuine. Round 3. Big girl surgery bright and early. Everything went smoothly. We took our dwarf hamster meadows there may 7th to get looked at she has a massive mass on her underside near her left leg. We've never been more scared or worried. She's our little girl, they got her in for surgery the next day. She did so good and dr.spidell did so good with that. The staff is amazing and SO nice and friendly especially Lisa who LOVES Meadows and Amber and Miranda (if I have her name right). After her surgery they called three days in a row to check on her ask how she's doing. Well the mass came back one month and a week exactly. We didn't know what to do and had just spent money at animal ark.. we had to wait til August 18th when we could just save up enough money again so fast. We took her to Cornell because they said they were open 27/7 365 days a year..FOR the exotic

We recently took our gerbil Dusty in because we noticed that he wasn't chewing his cardboard as he always does. Dr. Spindel was very thourough and quick taking care of a loose tooth and trimming his bottom incisors.The facility is very clean and welcoming and the front end staff and technicians were very nice and caring. What a pleasant expereience!

I've brought a rooster and a rat to Dr. Spindel. I'm very impressed by his thoroughness and sensitivity, especially his care for my child's elderly rat. My kiddo left feeling sad but confident we made the right decision to put our rat to sleep. It made things much easier. I really appreciate the time Dr. Spindel spent reassuring us. The whole staff has been wonderful!

I don’t usually write negative reviews — I understand that sometimes things just happen — but this situation feels different. Our dog had been a patient at Animal Ark for six years, since she was a puppy. They were fine for routine visits, but when we needed real help, they consistently let us down. In six years, we only had two emergencies. The first was when she developed a UTI at about a year old. We called, and they told us they couldn’t see her for two weeks. We ended up at an emergency vet instead. I wasn’t happy, but we stayed with Animal Ark anyway. Recently, when she turned six, she started itching nonstop. They said it was “probably allergies,” did an ear cleaning, and wouldn’t let us see the vet. I wasn’t even allowed inside with her except to pay the bill. A month later, she wa
