We brought our beagle who had 2 tumors growing and needed surgery. She is old and had a heart condition. We were worried to get bad news. Dr Teves was her doctor and took time to check her and explain the whole process and let us know he felt confident about the surgery. He was honest about risks and we decided to move forward with the surgery. Our old girl pulled through and is healing fine. He did an amazing job! And Erika the nurse was absolutely amazing. From the minute we checked in and all throughout She was friendly and providing updates and made sure we had everything we needed to take our baby girl home. I was looking for a new vet for my puppy and glad that in Glendale there is actually affordable veterinary with great prices and staff. Girls upfront are always nice, very helpful. I just love this place. Highly recommend!

I returned to Angelus Pet Hospital after having moved out of the area because it is a pet clinic I trust with the care of my two cats. I was told that it was under new ownership and I was impressed by the new veterinarian and the staff. The Dr listened to my concerns and spent time giving me advice. The veterinarian technicians were very attentive to me and all the other people that entered the waiting room. (It was busy with people and their pets). I definitely will continue bringing my fur babies to this clinic even though I live 35 min away.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE and you will be doing yourself a favor. Extremely disorganized, unprofessional, and disrespectful. I don't usually take the time to leave bad reviews, but this time I wanted to share my unpleasant experience on this place. I've been planning the spay surgery for my female German Shepherd, who weighs around 70 pounds, for a little over a month. The first thing I did was contact this place via email, where I made my inquiry and provided them with all the detailed information about my dog. I even sent them a PDF of her most recent veterinary checkup, which included all her information. Dr. Khalek is a superlative VET, with 40 years+ of experience. Yes, he is older now, but the wisdom he has accumulated in decades of VET experience is proven. With 3 cats and 3 dogs I have need of a vet that can take an appointment FAST with little waiting. I don't know how he does it but he rarely keeps you in the waiting room more than 10-15 minutes. Also you can make an appointment within 24 hours. He knows his stuff, resolved a complex problem with a cat in 1 visit, and nailed it with my very large (120 lbs) Russian Wolfhound.
