Angel's Animal Sanctuary

What a great place. The work they do to provide a safe healthy environment for unwanted farm animals is heartwarming. Strongly recommend a visit and a donation. They are non profit volunteer based business. One look at these animals and you will fall in love with the sanctuary like I did.

Animals forever home at Angels Animal Sanctuary is an example of a community that gathers to support and protect and foster the genuine care for the animals. Today I was honored to see how the animals are so special and protected. From grooming to just being a gentle voice with caring hugs and petting the animals the animals are so responsive. The animals know they are safe and well cared for. Approaching us as humans and giving a nudge for More rubs is so fun. The peacocks were so excited to get fresh plants and ferns in their protected habitat. The bunnies all safe and cuddled in the fresh hay lined house. The goats protected with well built shelters from the rain. The horses and cows and ponies and donkey all in protected areas to stay safe from the weather we have been having lately

Angel's Animal Sanctuary is truly a beautiful, peaceful, and safe space for all the animals she lovingly takes care of. In addition to nuturing animals her and her partner offer wellness retreats for people who would like a day or weekend to connect with animals, meditate, learn nutrition, or just be. I've attended more than a few events, participated in yoga classes, paint n' sips all of which I highly recommend.

This place is amazing and so beautiful. The animals are all so loved and so very very well cared for. Love their events and also hosting private events there too!

My dear friend Jan and I attended the Soul & Savor Women's Retreat last weekend and reserved their pool house room. Upon arrival we felt welcomed and couldn't have been more delighted to participate in this small group program where we got to tour Dr. Angel & Anita's gorgeous home, equestrian facility and animal rescue sanctuary right after a superb taste of artfully prepared vegetarian delights by Anita which were almost too beautiful to eat 😉 The sound bath was a new experience we both enjoyed, along with their rooster (whose name if I recall correctly is Blanton). We also had fun learning a little on horse grooming from Joy - a very sweet young & energetic volunteer. Jan & I both learned many new things from this unique experience with Dr. Angel, Anita as well as all the other humans
