Called to just ask an emergency question, about my dog possibly being poisoned, the lady said unfortunately your not a patient here so we are not going to help you its our common practice not to help anyone that is not already seen here, I said please its just a question, she said no that's how we due business, I said but my dog could be dying she said we'll try Google amd find a vet that is willing to talk to you. She was so rude and not helpful, it would have have been a 2 minute question instead I get good luck with Google.

My wife and I have taken all of our pets and fosters/rescues to Dr. Hohman for years. She has always provided excellent care and she or her assistant always follow up consistently. Even in cases of a few after-hours emergencies, as established clients, we still have to go through the process she has in place before "seen". What many people may not realize is that it is only her and one other person at this clinic. Unlike most of the other ones that multiple vets and multiple assistants on staff. She's simple and direct in how she delivers information. Maybe people misinterpret that and limited time as not caring, but rest assured....she cares a great deal and shows it.

Dr. Hohmann is the most caring and competent vet I have encountered in my 50 plus years of pet ownership. She quickly answers after hours emergency calls and has saved the lives of several of my beloved pets. And her compassion when faced with end-of-life decisions is unsurpassed.

They are NOT here to help. Woman who answered phone on 7/3/25 at about 12:50 in the morning was rude as can be. Mumbled the introduction and when my husband had a question all she did was repeat the opening line in a condescending tone. If she isn’t a vet and can’t help anyone why have her there at 1 in the morning. Useless people all around. My dog had gotten into poisonous material and they would not help or even give any info for help

I guess you see the pattern here. Same with me, our dog was hit by car and broke leg. They wouldnt see him after hours because NOT AN ESTABLISHED CUSTOMER. Shame on these people. They dont deserve to "care" for anyones pet, because its obvious they don't care.
