My wife and I and a few friends were invited to visit the farm, and we received a wonderful tour of the grounds and of course introductions to the horses from Christine and Rachel, the proprietors. It was transporting and enriching. The space is magical and the horses are friendly, healthy and very well cared for. Truly, to know that such a place exists in the Hamptons - or anywhere for that matter - run by such kind, considerate, knowledgeable and hard-working people is amazing. Christine and Rachel have devoted heir lives to saving these and other needy horses, and they are truly the finest caretakers imaginable. Amaryllis Farms is a true horse sanctuary that’s all about the love and wellbeing of these aged and abused horses. Christine and Rachel tend to these souls everyday. They have no holidays or days off. Most saved from a slaughter house, are now safe from abuse, starvation and human cruelty. They are cared for, and live out their years safe, secure and most importantly loved. Give to this very deserving 501c3 rescue.

I have known Christine and her daughter Rachel for over a decade. There is no where else like Amaryllis Farm. If a horse is under their care, they have hit the lottery. Every horse has their needs individualized, whether it be blanketing, nutrition or assuring that they stay together as a bonded pair. Their wellbeing truly comes first.

Hello everyone, I highly recommend this sanctuary for horses for the owner is very diligent and meticulous. Christine and Rachel take excellent of them like they were their own babies.
