I honestly don’t know where to begin with how grateful we are to Ian, Sara, and the entire Alpha One Canine team. We came to them in what seemed like an impossible situation - our dog Linus needed to become a well-trained family dog in just five weeks before our big move. The timeline was completely unrealistic, or so we thought. Against all logical hope, Ian and Sara succeeded beyond our wildest dreams! We did a 3 week board and train and had excellent results. Alpha one is our go to for boarding when we go out of town. Our pup loves Ian and Justin … we can’t even drive by without her wanting to go say hello! They also provided very helpful guidance on how we can continue our pups training. Can’t imagine going anywhere else!

I couldn't be happier with my experience at Alpha One! Right from the first session, it was clear that they are committed, experienced, and truly care about helping both dogs and owners be successful. The trainers are professional, patient, and tailored the training to my dog's unique personality and needs. Within a few weeks, I could see an enormous improvement in my dog's behavior—better leash manners, better recall, and overall calmness in the home. Most impressive of all was their balanced approach and focus on building a strong relationship between us. So glad Alpha One is in Venice now! Ian and Sara are incredibly knowledgeable, so fun to work with and have made a HUGE difference with our dogs. We brought in both our dogs for reactivity and impulse control. Ian showed us how to keep the dogs engaged, breakdown goals into milestones, and work with each dog the way that particular dog truly needs. We also boarded with Alpha One. It was such a relief knowing our dog was safe with an actual trainer who knows him and could handle anything our dog could get up to! We are so glad we found Alpha One!
