WARM FUZZIES GONE We have been boarding our dogs with Patty and Jenny since they opened in 1995. It was a wonderful experience, truly "almost home!" On several occasions when they would not eat, Patty would even call to ask permission to switch their food brand to spark their appetite or to add green beans. Then, when Patty got sick, they hired from outside. After Patty's passing, things seemed to change. My "warm fuzzies" disappeared. Things were "adequate". During our last visit, our dogs were to share an enclosure, as they have some separation anxiety when left. Much to my surprise, when we returned I was informed they were separated for their entire stay. I was told they had to be separated because of fighting. These dogs live together! We have found another pet daycare who will take Amos and Joey while Andy undergoes surgery tomorrow. I cannot begin to tell you how disappointed I am in your decision to turn away my pets for boarding because I declined flu vaccines for my senior pets with health issues. Thank God there are other pet daycare owners who believe as we do. We won't be back due to your poor decisions and the way you treated my husband. Its better for my boys not to be in the care of anyone that behaves in this fashion and would inconvenience a man facing surgery. It surprises me, though it shouldn't in this day and age. I will make it a point to call out your actions publicly in some fashion after we get through this surgery. Shame on you all.

My dog is old and they take wonderful care of her and have since 2010. I want them to require vaccines so that all the dogs are safe.

Almost Home takes wonderful care of our pups when we're away. Our dogs get very excited as soon as they realize they're going on "vacation" too 🙂

This was a fantastic discovery..we are very protective of our Newfounland Rescue and Almost Home treated him like a prince. We are repeat customers.
