All the Single Kitties

Loved the love that was given for these kitties. The ones we saw were mostly shy strays, well deserving of a loving home. And they're clearly in a great place to stay in the meantime. The atmosphere was cute, clean, quiet. No smells you'd expect from places filled with kitties. The workers were beyond kind. My heart goes out to them for how much they do love these kitties. Most cat cafes work with shelters to take the most social cats. But these ones didn't, and I find that all the more better. These cats have stories. They deserve to be nervous around people. And letting them safely see people, and people spend time with them, is a wonderful way to find their forever home. Be kind, be patient, and bring socks. Absolute lovely place.

I was on my way to an event at the Kate performance house, and arrived early, so walked down the street and stumbled into this amazing cat heaven. While they recommend appointments, they were able to get me in and I was happy to pay the suggested fee. The place is extremely clean, well decorated and has amazing places for cats to play and hide when they need to. It isn't really a "cat cafe" in that they only have a few packaged drinks and snacks, but you are there for the cats. The cats vary widely in temperment (as cats will do). Some of the younger ones wanted to play and didn't mind contact, but some of the more mature ones were a bit feisty. I got a *very* tiny bite that I deserved :-). I volunteer at my local kitty shelter because there is no shortage of sweet kitties that need a home. Unlike the shelter where the kitties are in their own "condo", All The Single Kitties offers cozy opportunities for their free range kitties to get to know you. Some are aloof, some are goofy , some are "not feeling it" today. Altho there may be a momentary spat, all the cats there would be okay with another cat in the house. EVERYTHING at All The Single Kitties is for the comfort of the cats. Small number of visitors at a time. High perches out of human reach for cats that aren't feeling social. Employees that are devoted to each kitty currently in their care. I have visited several times and will continue to visit-- its good for the soul.

Food was good! Need to organize their wait list better. Perhaps give # as you come in so you are not forgotten. Had 3 people order before me who came in after me. Also, wanted to see the cats, but again, need to be better organized.
