All Breed Rescue & Training

All Breed Rescue & Training has helped my family - both humans and dogs - by teaching us skills we can use every day in real life. ABRT's behavior and training services deserve 10 out of 5 stars. Their staff are all amazing! The in-person classes provide immediate, personalized feedback for humans and dogs that can't be duplicated by watching a You Tube video or a reading a book or website. Plus, ABRT saves local dogs that have no other options. We are also ABRT adopters, and the ABRT team provides a level of post-adoption support that is unrivaled. All Breed Rescue is the BEST place to adopt and train your dog.

We have taken several classes with ABRT. The trainers are all excellent. They use positive reinforcement and as you go through different classes that build upon each other, you learn additional skills and ways to teach your dogs new things beyond just luring to get desired behaviors.

Be aware of potential bullying during training - my wife and dog were still upset the next day from what occurred during the free-for-all period where humans are not supposed to intervene. The dogs are set loose with each other with staff providing no pre-training or having any knowledge of their behavior levels. The day after the training our dog was showing signs of stress including trembling and pulling away in fear that were brand new behaviors. My wife was very excited and did all of the videos and work to prepare for the first class. Afterward, she felt guilty that she did not intervene when staff did not, and she felt it was unsafe to go back. ————— Note - this review was edited to be sure it only relates what I know myself. Love all of the instructors, and the classes are awesome! They've been a tremendous help with my reactive aussie and getting my young sheltie into the sport of agility. Would absolutely go here with any future dogs as well :)

I trained my old dog 11 years ago here and she turned it so amazing I brought my new puppy here. Lauren is still amazing at training puppies and Kara has been awesome as well! Highly recommended!
