You should definitely bring your cat here. I was taking my cat the Codornices veterinary clinic for years. They do fine work and I had no specific problems. However, they are a generalized vet, not catered just for cats. I often had to share space with dogs, and the vets and facilities were simply not specialists in cats. So I decided to give Albany Cat Clinic a go and I was very pleased. They treated my old man like a king. The staff were very nurturing, responsive, and gentle. They loved him (who wouldn't), and while he of course still hated it, I appreciated the quality of work, the quality of care, and the warmth of the reception. Even he warmed up a bit when they offered him a nice treat and some reassuring rubs. Dr. Soto was very good at being both pragmatic and compassionate. I

My experience at Albany Cat Clinic has been good. Dr. Soto is gentle. Her staff is wonderful. Her assistant was very respectful of my cat’s feelings. She explained everything she was going to do and when it stressed my cat too much she decided to wait. I really appreciate the care. Dr. Soto after his teeth cleaning texted me several times to check in my cat. Lastly, the receptionist was kind enough to show you up early for work to accommodate my work schedule. Take your cat there!

Doctor Soto has been our vet for years, and she's amazing! She has been extremely kind, patient, and knowledgeable in caring for our sweet lad. She has done his annual check-ups, administered vaccines, counseled us through some minor crises, and even suggested ways to help our nervous guy grow in confidence. We've recommended her to several friends who have cats, and they have had great experiences with her as well!

Everyone was very kind from the moment I first called. They were very patient with my nervous cat and didn’t rush him through an exam. Things were explained and I felt well taken care of. Would definitely recommend! Exam room even had a painting of birds to tailor to cats interests, a very funny touch.

Undoubtedly the best vet I've ever been to. Since it's cats only, there's no stress for our cat from all the dogs around. Dr. Soto is very caring, great with cats, and takes time to really explain everything while also listening attentively. All the staff are very kind, and we feel like we have top of the line care here. They pay attention to details that are neglected in other places which help make things more manageable for the cats. Highly recommended.
