I had to put down my sweet boy, and the staff at Advanced Vet. Care Center were so supportive, calming, and were HONEST about Robbie’s odds of living a full life without being pricked, stuck, or feeling pain. They were going to support any decision I made and they shared facts, and did not prey on emotions. It is important to be honest when it comes to quality of life of our fur babies. My kitten didn’t make it and passed away just minutes after arriving, but everyone at the clinic was incredibly kind, accommodating, and caring during such a difficult time. Dr. Katherine Zamudio, in particular, was compassionate and patient, she took the time to explain everything and truly went above and beyond. Because of the level of care and empathy we received, I felt compelled to write this review. This clinic is for specialty and emergency care only; otherwise, I would switch to Dr. Zamudio as our regular vet without hesitation. I hope your pets never have to come here but if they do you are in good care.

Advanced Veterinary care center was absolutely amazing with our Havanese dog. We brought him in to the emergency vet care center in Davie, FL. They took him in right away after listening to his health concerns. They conducted an ultrasound and also reviewed all the records received from our primary vet. Next they came out and shared the results of the ultrasound and found that emergency surgery was the only course of action to save him before his gallbladder ruptured. Although the cost was very high, there’s no price we could put on our dog’s life. We agreed to the surgery and they took him in right away. They took excellent care of him. I am so grateful to the AVCC team for their efficiency in detecting my cat's cancer after visiting 3 different clinics and very impressed by how compassionate they were when she passed away. But what I appreciate most is the beautiful gesture of writing a condolence card with a message from each member of the medical team. Thank you for helping our cat and for your kind treatment of us.

I cannot put into words how grateful I am for the veterinarians and staff who took care of my baby, simba. From the moment we walked in, they treated him like he was their own. They listened, they took their time, and most importantly—they didn’t give up until they found the real issue.
