Karen, Lisa, and Dr. Newman are such a special team! I discovered Dr. Newman a few years ago and I’m so grateful that he is my fur babies’ vet. I never feel rushed, and they always explain everything in detail. It’s evident that the team deeply cares for their patients and will always go above and beyond for them! Last year, my family and I had to make the heartbreaking decision to put my soul dog to sleep. When my grandma went to talk to Dr. Newman, they closed the practice, pulled up chairs and talked to my grandma one-on-one. Unfortunately, the day we were set to put her to sleep, she fell into a massive seizure. I called Dr. Newman’s office in tears, saying I don’t know what to do. We love Dr. Newman. Anytime we have an emergency with our dog he's pragmatic, helpful and compassionate. He's also taught me a lot about being a dog owner, even though I grew up with them. I'll be bringing my pets to him until the day he retires!

I can't recommend these kind-hearted people enough! I came in yesterday with my daughter's Syrian hamster who unfortunately had a large tumor growing on his chest. The doctor and his nurse treated me and our little furball with all the dignity, compassion and respect that any family dog or cat would deserve. They saw me the same day, were very transparent about expectations, and extremely kind to me during a tough moment. It would have been easy to be flippant with such a tiny creature but they treated my grief with the same reverence as the loss of any family member. The hardest part of having a pet is when their little lives come to an end. We all want to make sure that we give them humane and dignified end-of-life care and minimize any needless suffering. I feel very fortunate to have found this clinic. Dr. Newman, and his staff, Lisa and Karen, are very personable and knowledgeable. We needed an International Health Certificate for travel and they were very diligent - it helped make with the whole process much smoother.
